You may be reaching out for help due to overwhelming impacts of your past or present life circumstances that may feel beyond your control. Our sense of wellness is closely tied to the cooperation and stability in our relationships with ourselves, others, and the world. Within these relationships there are a range of interpersonal difficulties that we may end up facing between role transitions, conflicts, loss, life changes, and others. It is necessary to establish the right support when these events disrupt your abilities to cope and function.

I work through a therapeutic lens that is rooted in an anti-oppressive and culturally-sensitive practice. There is deep respect for the traumas you may have incurred, as well as the barriers you may have faced in your environments. My aim is to pull from an array of modalities- mindfulness, cognitive behaviour, dialectical behaviour, interpersonal, and humanist therapies- to tailor an approach that best suits you and your needs for support.

I strongly believe that a good connection between client and therapist is crucial to fostering emotional growth and health. Through our time together, my hope is that we can build a safe therapeutic alliance to help you navigate any overwhelming emotions, thoughts, and situations. I look forward to hearing from you and starting this journey together!
